Job Details
We are currently seeking motivated and suitably skilled individuals to join the leisure services team across all Telford and Wrekin Council's Leisure services. We operate an extensive fitness class programme across the borough and are looking for qualified individuals to support class cover.
Applicants for this post should possess either a Level 2 Exercise to Music Instructor qualification, Aqua Instructor qualification or Group Fitness Class instructor qualification, and be qualified in either Zumba or Les Mills Body Pump, Body Combat, Sh'bam, Body Attack, Grit, Body Balance and Level 2 Indoor Cycling or Circuits.
We currently seeking Aquafit instructors, however are keen to hear from candidates who interested in becoming an Aquafit instructor and hold the following prerequisites for a Aquafit qualification. Prerequisites include Level 2 Exercise to Music, Level 2 Gym or Level 2 Swimming Teacher. As we may be able to support the upskilling to enable delivery of Aquafit on our class programme.
Due to the nature of the post successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of the health benefits associated with regular exercise.
