Summary
All normal yard duties to include:
- Mucking out/sweeping yard
- Filling haynets/ water buckets
- Feeding/ paddock cleaning
- Turning horses in and out and changing rugs
- Grooming and tacking up
- Riding available for the right candidate
Training
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training
Qualifications required
Level 4+ in GCSEs / Level 1+ in Functional Skills desirable but not essential. Contact Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Skills required
Must already have good basic equine experience.
Prospects
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom apprenticeship. Possibility of full time position on completion of the apprenticeship.
