Full Job Description
Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You'll be on hand answering queries and listening to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You'll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.

We need enthusiastic, friendly people to be part of our outdoor Welcome & Service Assistant team which plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service., customer focused with an understanding of the importance of great service
a team player, but also can work on your own initiative
well organised and adaptable
willing to learn new skills
Duration: Fixed term until 31st October 2025
Hours: 15 hours a week, some weekend work would be expected.
Salary: £12.75 an hour
Interview date: Wednesday 26th March at Boon Crag, Coniston.
For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
The advertised salary for this role will be in effect from 1st April.
What it's like to work here
This role will be focused in our iconic outdoor visitor attraction in the southern Lake District; Tarn Hows.
A short drive away from Coniston, Tarn Hows combines spectacular, awe-inspiring fell views with easy access. It's a much loved and very busy outdoor destination with approximately 150,000 visitors each year. People of all ages, levels of mobility and confidence in the outdoors come to Tarn Hows to wander on well-maintained paths through a magnificent upland environment., have a positive attitude
