Oversee the loading operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies.
Report and document accidents and near misses to management.
Ensure all team members are trained to use equipment safely and effectively.
Monitor and maintain high standards of housekeeping and operations in accordance with MHRA and GDP standards.
Conduct regular performance reviews and manage staff training and development.
Ensure accurate completion of loading, transport, and customer documentation.
Communicate effectively with the loading team and other departments to promote a collaborative work environment.
Manage departmental sickness and absence, conducting return to work interviews as needed.
Encourage continuous improvement and address errors with appropriate corrective actions.

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
Strong knowledge of GDP and Health & Safety regulations.
Understanding of Air Freight Security Regulations.
Proficient in operating relevant warehouse systems and equipment.
Flexible and willing to work additional hours when required.
Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
Honest and open approach to communication.
Effective decision-making skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
