Full Job Description
- Construct export cases using materials such as wood, plywood, metal, or plastic, based on customer requirements and shipping specifications.\n
- Customise cases according to the size, weight, fragility, and nature of the goods being transported, ensuring proper protection during transit.\n
- Accurately measure and cut materials to appropriate dimensions using saws, drills, and other woodworking tools.\n
- Assemble case components securely, including sidewalls, base, lid, hinges, locks, and handles, ensuring structural integrity and stability.\n
- Reinforce cases with internal cushioning, padding, or shock-absorbing materials to protect delicate items from damage.\n
- Inspect finished cases for defects, irregularities, and compliance with quality standards before packaging and shipment.\n
- Collecting freight in company vehicle \n
- Composing and replying to customer emails when required \n
Hands-on character, with an interest in construction tasks involving woodwork, power tools and packaging construction.\n - Willingness to use hand tools \n
- Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects repeatedly, as well as stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.\n
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.\n
