A Warehouse Packer and Sorter is responsible for efficiently packaging, sorting, and organizing products in a warehouse environment. Pack goods into boxes, crates, or other packaging materials according to company guidelines.
Ensure items are packed securely to avoid damage during transportation.
Use packing materials such as bubble wrap, foam, and padding to protect goods.
Sort products by size, type, or destination to ensure accurate deliveries.
Organize stock by category, order, or other designated classifications.
Follow specific sorting guidelines to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in stock checks and inventory management.
Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.
Update stock records as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn as required.
Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring the safe handling of items.
Move products to and from the correct storage areas.
Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
