We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient section of our site operations on behalf of a well-known high street retailer. As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Analyze and mitigate health and safety risks for associates, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Drive a Safety-First culture and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal obligations.
• Ensure effective communication of policies and practices across the operation.
• Implement security measures to protect personnel, assets, and customer products.
• Engage customers and employees in security awareness initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and maintain training plans and quality management processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and trust.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement programs.
• Oversee resource planning, recruitment, and training to meet operational demands.
• Lead operational performance reviews focusing on profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and internal targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching for direct reports.
• Identify opportunities for operational enhancements using First Choice tools.
• Engage employees in improvement activities and environmental initiatives.
• Foster an engaging culture through regular communication and recognition.
• Lead talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  
  Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
• Experience in managing large teams with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Customer-facing with a service-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with hazardous goods and automated environments is advantageous.
• Proven ability to build trust and stabilize teams.
• Excellent people skills.
