Content Strategy Manager
12 month FTC
Hybrid role - North Bristol office 1 day a week, The content strategy manager is responsible for managing the research, creation publication and measurement of all web content for Bupa Dental Care brands.
The role will specifically take the lead on our core types of content: feature content (video, infographics, animations, podcasts etc.); clinically approved health content (e.g. treatments and symptoms); product/conversion content (e.g. campaigns, treatments, local practices); and maintaining CMS web content (practice pages, clinician profiles etc.).
The role holder will work closely with the performance marketing manager to understand content performance, using insights to inform strategy and tactics that help achieve commercial goals across our brands. Direct reports will work closely with the content strategy manager to help deliver these key tasks and work with the wider marketing team and departments to align on content.
A key part of this role will also be to help raise awareness of marketing throughout the business, to work closely with internal communications and liaise with area managers, practice managers and local marketing managers to help deliver on local marketing plans. This will include working with high-value practices to drive an optimized web presence and dealing with external crisis communications as needed.
What will I be doing?
+ Support the head of performance & content to develop a successful insight and data-led content strategy for all Bupa Dental Care brands and lead on delivering this in alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
+ Own and manage the content marketing calendar, collaborating with key stakeholders across the BU and MU including marketing managers, area managers and practice managers.
+ Lead a team of content marketers, content editors, and external resource as required, to ensure the successful delivery of the content marketing plan.
+ Bring expertise to collaborate with the wider marketing team and deliver content and website solutions for product, brand and local marketing campaigns.
+ Oversee the timely management of the ServiceNow ticket system for day-to-day maintenance of website content within SLAs.
+ Own all content on BDC websites, driving improvements in readability, user experience and supporting digital marketing and commercial targets.
+ Support the Head of Performance & Content on the development of content policy to comply with GDC standards. Seek and implement improvements to content management processes and procedures.
+ Manage an audience research programme to inform content strategy and share customer insights with wider marketing.
+ Use analytics tools and systems to monitor and evaluate content performance, making and implementing recommendations for improvements.

+ Experience in developing and leading on a content strategy and delivering an effective content calendar
+ Experience of managing high-performing multi-channel content, including campaigns, social media, posters and leaflets and website copy.
+ Excellent communicator, hitting the correct tone and language in our comms to our consumer audience.
+ A excellent command of website content management systems including intermediate HTML, user experience and design.
+ Strong analytical skills with a good working understanding of digital marketing including SEO.
+ Creative and innovative - ability to develop new ideas.
+ Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines.
