RESPONSIBLE FOR: This is a new role, so the successful candidate can help shape the role. Our initial thoughts are that the role will own overseeing and implementing internal and external communications for Greener and Cleaner, including:

Supporting the senior team in developing organisational understanding of methods for effectively engaging various stakeholders, including supporters, sponsors, volunteers, local media, and politicians
Creating engaging and creative collateral and copy for a variety of media and audiences using a range of personal skills (or volunteers with skills), including copywriting, design, photography, and film
Developing our communications channels to engage our audiences (including staff and volunteers) with informative and accessible information and targeted campaigns and messaging through email newsletters and across digital and social media platforms
Developing tailored communications methods and styles to meet the needs of different audiences
Supporting the Fundraising Manager in the development and implementation of the organisation's individual-giving fundraising strategy
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records on our CRM system in compliance with data protection and GDPR legislation
