Media Relations Officer
Company: King's Trust
Contract Type: Maternity Cover for up to 12 months
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Closing Date: 23:59 on 13/03/2025
Salary: £21,840.00 to £26,900.00 dependent on your skills, knowledge and experience
Location: Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester or Newcastle only (Hybrid working)

The King's Trust is looking for a dynamic Media Relations Officer to drive our media presence, share inspiring stories, and engage key audiences. You'll play a crucial role in amplifying the voices of young people we support, securing national and regional media coverage, and handling press activity that builds our reputation.
From crafting compelling press releases to managing media inquiries and shaping powerful campaigns, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. If you have a strong understanding of the media landscape, excellent writing skills, and the ability to build relationships with journalists and stakeholders, we want to hear from you! Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some who have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people's lives and we couldn't do this without the important work of Media Relations Officers!
