Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Digital Content Producer who will be responsible for planning, developing and creating digital content, working with colleagues across the Company to represent the breadth of WNO's work, for use on our audience facing digital channels and across media and marketing campaigns to engage new and existing audiences and enhance our brand awareness. What will be required of you?

  • Plan and develop a wide range of high-quality in-house digital assets including gifs, images, photography and video to be utilised across WNO and venue channels and support marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Works as a pro-active member of the marketing team to ensure that all targets and KPIs are reached, and campaigns are a success.
  • Undertakes image and film editing of content as required.
  • Assists with the management of film trailer and feature production, and communicates content briefs and feedback to agencies, sound producers and team members, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Oversees photography for all WNO content and comms, managing photoshoots with 3rd party suppliers, writing and communicating briefs with WNO internal and external stakeholders including directors and liaising with photographers. In collaboration with the wider marketing and communications team selects images for promotional use.
  • Supports Digital Marketing Communications Officer to drive website traffic, social media engagement and ticket sales across our digital platforms representing the spectrum of WNO activity and departments.
  • Works with Head of Marketing & Digital and Digital Marketing Communications Officer to ensure that the WNO website is maximising its SEO potential.

    Demonstrable experience of planning and creating excellent digital content
  • Experience of working editorially and with technical and digital design teams to communicate content
  • Experience of attracting audiences to new content through social platforms
  • Communication and people management skills
  • Confidence in managing external suppliers and relationships
  • Ability to guide and influence others
  • Confidence in making sound editorial decisions
  • Excellent project, budget and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of project management techniques and methodology
  • Editorial experience in content creation for young audiences and families
  • Understanding of editorial guidelines for different ages and groups in terms of audiences
  • Knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, FCP etc)
  • A team player who has a strong sense of their own individual responsibility and can work on their own initiative.
  • Welsh language speaker/writer
  • Interest in the arts
  • Understanding of GDPR legislation
