Full Job Description
This role is intended for current PhD students who will develop undergraduate projects and self-study packs for delivery in the second half of the academic year. Following RISE procedures you will:
- Design and create self-study packs for the RISE site
- Develop and deliver projects for undergraduate students
- Assist with administration around RISE project activities
You will be a critical contributor to a ground-breaking initiative in higher education. You will demonstrate the ability to work independently, and work towards our key objectives.
Dates: February 2025 - June 2026

This role is only open to current Manchester Met PhD students who have previously attended our Graduate School training.
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work independently and at pace.
- Familiarity with working with IT, in particular Microsoft Office, and a capacity to learn basic Wordpress editing.
- Good teamworking and communication skills.
- An interest in communicating PhD research in innovative ways.
Successful candidates will get additional training on self-study and project development methods.
