Full Job Description
As a Senior Narrative Designer, you will be accountable for creating and implementing engaging storylines and characters. Working closely with the designers, animators and other departments, ensuring that they are all aligned with the overall creative vision.,
- Work with level designers and writers to craft scenarios that deliver both quality narrative and the story beats across the game.
- Take ownership of gameplay dialogue implementation.
- Ensure consistency of voice, tone and theme across the project.
- Creating and maintaining design documentation.
- Write specifications for new narrative features.
- Able to provide critique of others' work with respect and constructive feedback.
The skills you'll need: - 5+ years' experience as a narrative, gameplay or level designer focusing on implementing narrative and systems.
- Take direction as well as ability to drive your own tasks.
- Excellent understanding of interactive storytelling.
- Ability to address and incorporate creative feedback in an effective and constructive manner.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication, documentation skills and the ability to convey abstract concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal. The nice to haves:
- A keen VR enthusiast, knowledgeable about the trends and hottest games in this sector of the industry and in particular the games design and playable content perspective.
- Experience with VR development.
- Script writing experience.
