Full Job Description
You will provide positive and effective leadership to a team consisting of Auditors, Penetration testers, Quality Assurance Testers, Change Management Auditors.
The Project manager is responsible for the management and execution of programs, projects or component of projects in a defined area of knowledge.
You will be responsible for accomplishing department objectives by planning, managing and administering all project activities, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
The successful candidate will be working in a team-based, results-driven environment.
Essential Functions ( Duties and Responsibilities)
Responsible for overall project management and delivery of all phases of assigned projects.
Creates, reviews and controls clear project documentation and outlines detailing the scope, goals deliverables, required resources, budget and timeline for the assigned project.
Develops plans, and distributes and allocates resources while tracking the progress of the deadlines for specific tasks.
Schedules and administers ongoing meetings aimed at setting the project goals.
Effectively balances workloads, assigning task, monitoring and reviewing all work performed for the duration of any assigned project.
Tracks project milestone and provides accurate and timely status reports to the leadership team.
Effectively manages the scope of the project by ensuring significant changes are documented and approved by business unit stakeholders.
Clearly communicates changes and expectations to management and stakeholders, as appropriate.
Coordinates training for users within all applicable business units affected by the implementation of the project.
Responsible for the project management repository and dashboard, ensuring the dashboard and project information are up to date.
Performs other duties as required.
Bachelors degree in a related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of experience as a project manager or a related role is required.
CAPM,PMP or PRINCE 2 certification is required.
Must have a valid drivers licence.
Should have a current passport.
Required Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
You will need exceptional organisational skills.
The ability to work both independently and in a team setting is required.
You should be diligent, resourceful and able to use your initiative.
Must be able to effectively read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
Must have the ability to handle and organise multiple projects and deadlines.
Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details and correctness.
