Full Job Description
Join our Global Packaging team as aSenior Engineer, responsible for designing and developinginnovative and sustainable packaging solutions for the MarsSnacking portfolio. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teamsto take packaging concepts from ideation to finished goods, drivinginnovation and accelerating growth. You will have the ability towork independently, lead teams, and deliver global projects thatdrive product quality, efficiency, and consumer safety. - Design,develop, and translate innovative packaging concepts, ensuringalignment with global consumer insights, business strategy, andquality standards.
- Lead and execute packagingdevelopment programs, bringing projects to commercialization whilemeeting timelines and cost objectives.
- Createpackaging specifications to meet brand Key Quality Attributes(KQAs) and ensure risk management, customer, and supply chainrequirements are met.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams and global/regional packaging teams todeliver innovative solutions and develop requiredtechnologies.
- Manage high-profile projects,drive consumer research, and identify opportunities for costsavings, quality improvements, and new packagingideas.
- In the first 3 months you will start tounderstand the business/stakeholders/projects etc. In 6 months, youwill be supporting the projects and helping move themalong.
Experiencein working in packaging development engineering, including 1stwraps and overwraps, cartons, and cases. - Experience of working in crossfunctional teams.
- Able to be flexible and agileto changing business priorities
- Able to setpriorities and demonstrate project managementskills.
- Ideally experience in working withmodel andsimulations.
