Full Job Description
The UKI Customer Solutions Centre (CSC) is a new structure which enables Mastercard to develop solutions & bundles for prioritised Customer segments. It is the housing for all Mastercard capabilities in UK & Ireland (UKI), and it aims to drive Mastercard growth and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable needs-based solutions to new and existing Customers by tapping into Mastercard's extensive toolbox of products and services offerings. There are two main business functions within the UKI CSC, Products and Solutions and Customer Solutions Architects. Products and Solutions are responsible for Product Strategy and Management covering technical product features / capabilities. Customer Solutions Architects are responsible for Customer solutioning and combining products into holistic customer propositions. Director, UKI Real Time Payments (RTP) sits within UKI Product and Solutions with responsibility for the Product Strategy and Management of capabilities which augment the Real Time Payment offering facilitated by Faster Payments. This role will act as the expert for the RTP solutions portfolio in the UKI market, they will also support the Customer Solution Architects to bring together existing Mastercard capabilities, products, and solutions to Customers. Responsibilities
- Provide product / solution expertise in crafting Customer value propositions working with CSC Solution Architects and Frontline Sales
- Support Frontline Sales in Customer discussions and planning to expand Customer business providing expert advice / guidance. Works directly with Customers when required.
- Monitor market trends and developments to providing insight to customers and internal/external stakeholders and inform strategy
- Define and monitor KPI performance data to inform stakeholders, identify risks / issues & drive change
- Train sales teams (account managers, business development managers and relationship managers)
- Manage rollout and enhancement of the RTP product suite across new and existing UKI bank & fintech partners
- Own UKI RTP Solutions Roadmap and evolving product strategy, including integration of new capabilities and product interoperability
- Work with the regional and global product teams, as appropriate for new product enhancements and representing market needs, All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:

Deep understanding and experience of product development, product management, consumer experience and problem solving - Experience and knowledge of working with payment solutions especially relating to Real Time Account to Account solutions
- Deep knowledge of payment systems within banks & fintechs and able to communicate how capabilities will interact
- Ability to collaborate and work on internal squads, created to develop end-to-end solutions for clients with multiple Mastercard capabilities i.e., products, services, or platforms
- Proven ability to manage the lifecycle of a product
- Comfort with problem solving and understanding relationship with the Customer needs
- Able to communicate at all levels internally and externally and build relationships with Customer counterparts
- Adept at working within matrix organisation and ability to influence and challenge
- Focus on execution and driving the right outcomes
