Full Job Description
What you'll be responsible for:
Supporting the wider fermentation team in the production of our Mycoprotein, you will safely conduct a range of process and maintenance tasks to contribute towards the efficient operation of the manufacturing plant.
Typically, you will perform plant readings whilst implementing necessary follow-up actions which ensure safe and efficient plant performance, ensuring raw material batches are produced according to manufacturing specifications and utilise the site control systems to identify trends and fault finding during the various processes of production.
Understanding of principles of process operations and functions of equipment used to control variables such as temperature, flow and pressure, including use of computer control systems
- Knowledge of safe systems of work, i.e. permit to work, toxic procedures etc.
- Ability to learn basic multi-skilled trade activities for first line maintenance and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including contractors, engineers, health & safety and quality
- Proficiency in manual handling techniques for executing numerous process and maintenance responsibilities
