Full Job Description
As our Goods In QC Operator, you'll be the first line of defence in ensuring all raw materials and packaging that enter our facility meet our exacting standards. You'll be part of a tight-knit QA team making a big impact on product quality and food safety.,
- Performing QC checks on all incoming goods and stock - only the best gets through!
- Auditing daily intake sheets and verifying materials against product specifications
- Rejecting non-conforming food materials or packaging and raising SNCs to suppliers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and evidence for RSPCA, RSPO, and RTA certification
- Supporting traceability tests and demonstrating procedures during audits
- Verifying and maintaining intake equipment (knives, probes, scanners, fridges, etc.)
- Carrying out raw material micro testing to schedule - fully and on time
- Pitching in on QA tasks when intake is quiet: GMP, glass audits, chiller checks, and more

- Laser-sharp attention to detail
- Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused mindset
- Ideally 1 year's experience in a QC role, preferably in a food factory
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or willing to work towards it)
- Familiar with QMS systems and basic traceability/documentation processes
