Full Job Description
Technical Warehouse Operative
BLACKMORE UK is one of the UK’s leading secure IT asset disposal and technology refurbishment specialists. Our aim is to collect and process IT and electronic equipment from our vast client base with the view to refurbish and resell equipment to extend its life.
We are looking to employ a Technical Warehouse Operative to work within our secure facility based in Chitterne, Wiltshire.
Your main duties will involve:
- Identifying and processing of IT hardware to strict customer requirements.
- Separating and secure handling of potential data holding items.
- Processing of data holding items for sanitisation or physical destruction.
As well as working within the Secure Asset department, your duties will also include:
- Disassembly of various IT equipment such as mobile phones and tablets.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse.
- Creating and moving pallets.
- Cross training in other departments where necessary including IT refurbishment.
Desirable:

- Interest in technology.
- Background in IT hardware break/fix.
- Good communication skills.
- Work as part of a team.
- Pro-active approach.
- Pride in work and adaptable.
All applicants will be required to meet SC National Security Level Clearance.
You will be working in a fast-moving environment so being organised and able to work on your feet throughout the day is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing skills within a demanding and challenging role in an expanding successful IT reuse company. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Due to our location, please check that you can reliably commute to the facility daily before applying.
Overtime will be available where business needs require.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:30.
