Full Job Description
My client is a rapidly growing global organisation offering a range of services to the Professional Services sector globally. As part of their exciting growth plans an opportunity exists to join this business as an Interim Technical Infrastructure Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Microsoft Azure projects, Microsoft O365 projects, and IT Security Improvement Projects. This role requires excellent matrix management skills to effectively coordinate and lead cross-functional teams. Key Duties:
- Lead and manage multiple infrastructure projects, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365, and IT Security Improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical/budget oversight and timely delivery of a range of 'in flight' infrastructure related projects.
- Deliver strong project governance and risk mitigation across multi-functional project teams in line with evolving PMO standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, and providing clarity on timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements of projects, set expectations, and ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams
- Identify any potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Track project progress, monitor performance, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365, and IT Security Improvement projects. - Ideally MSP or financial services sector exposure.
- Exposure to a complex organisation with a wide variety of technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and O365 platforms, IT security principles, and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in matrix management, leading cross-functional teams, and managing complex projects.
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. The role is based from their London office, offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
