Full Job Description

We have the perfect job for you in our Estates and Valuation Team. You will join a small but busy team managing the Council's non-operational and investment properties.

The Team:

The Estates Valuation and Facilities team provides a multi-disciplinary professional service which leads on all property matters for the Council.

In addition to actively managing the Council's property investments, income producing estate, it also maintains responsibility for statutory compliance and property health & safety.

The Role:

The Property Management Officer role is an integral part of the Estates and Valuation Team and you will provide support to the team with the day to day running of its varied property portfolio, including but not be limited to organising planned and reactive maintenance of the residential and investment portfolio.

Using the Council's Geographical Information System (GIS) to provide plans and documents.

Support the preparation, collection, and reporting of information in relation to council's housing buy back scheme and procurement of external Right To Buy valuations.

Liaising with members of the public, external contractors as required and communicating with property occupiers and tenants.

A motivated, well organised, IT literate and focussed individual, who can bring a positive, 'can do' attitude to their work.

We are looking for a 'team player' who can adapt and work under their own initiative. Good communication skills and the ability to work in busy team are essential for the role.

Good IT skills and the workings of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required., Disability Confident
