Our Sales Specialists have a deep proven experience for Enterprise & Risk and Compliance, across the Buyside and the Sell-side of our industry. Role Summary As part of the Data and Feeds Sales Team in UK/I & Northern Europe, you will hunt for new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers. Highly driven, you meet and exceed targets, winning trust with your natural people skills and have an in-depth proposition knowledge. You know how to structure deals and how to leverage market and intuition for business to outsell the competition. With a close eye on the sales pipeline, you will identify more opportunities every day and you will inspire customers to renew their contracts with us automatically. The role of the Proposition Sales Specialist, within the successful Enterprise team, will focus on 'Real-time' and 'Pricing and Reference Data' Feed solutions primarily into Financial Institution's Middle and Back Office operations. You will be tasked with implementing our strategy for long term sustainable growth of Refinitiv's footprint in this area through an understanding of market and competitive dynamics and will detail and drive Sales execution . The role will require the successful candidate strong direction setting and influencing skills to work with the local Account Management teams to deliver results. What you'll be doing: As Proposition Sales Specialist you will be seen as the specialist when it comes to selling LSEG Data & Feed Solutions and will be accountable for driving growth and revenue
- Provide in-depth customer and market insights, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process
- Implement through strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions, including Product, Marketing, Market Development, Account Management and external partners
- Provide input to the creation and development of comprehensive solutions based on growth opportunities and ensuring alignment with LSEG D&F's overall strategic direction.
- Monitor all aspects of key competitors, analyzing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and develop strategies to achieve competitive advantage
- Drive thought leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building
- Strong eye for business and commercial strategy skills
- Able to influence individuals as well as groups in meetings
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in an inspirational environment
- Proactively identify pipeline opportunities
- Structure, negotiate and close deals
- Develop sales strategy for the proposition within assigned territory
- Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
Minimum of 3 years sales track Record in Enterprise Solution and/or market data-feeds selling in the Financial Services industry - Highly Driven and Self-Motivated Knowledge and direct experience to the Buyside-, and/or Sell side in UK/I & Northern Europe
- Creative problem solver and good sales ideation skills with excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- A strong team player with excellent listening skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create, prioritize and execute a sales plan
- Solid market understanding with experience selling to C-level executive
- Demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding sales targets within a high paced pressurised environment
- Good understanding of the Financial Services market and its workflows, as well as Competitor Landscape
