Full Job Description

Apply now for the position of Manufacturing Operations Improvement Apprentice and you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of the world's leading healthcare companies, alongside gaining a Level 4 Apprenticeship. We are looking for apprentices who want to experience a real working environment, and who want to take advantage of being paid to earn a structured and approved qualification whilst they do it. Your role:

  • You will support and play a major part in projects across the business.
  • You will work closely with the Production Managers and Teams within the Operations Department.
  • You will identify potential opportunities, diagnosing issues and proposing solutions and implementing change to data and operational processes.
  • You will develop in coaching teams and sharing best practice within the business.
  • You will understand and demonstrate Lean/continuous improvement actions and participate in events for the site delivering sustainable savings.
  • You will spend 20% of your time completing Off-The-Job training, including independent study and internal training.
  • During this 18-month apprenticeship you will also complete learning modules and projects, and work towards achieving an Improvement Practitioner Level 4 qualification, building a portfolio of work to support your end point assessment whilst guided by your line manager and our apprenticeship manager., Who we are: We are a team of more than 73,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.   • You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have great organizational and problem-solving skills that should include prioritization, setting goals and time management.
  • You will have the ability to work effectively in teams.
  • You should be ccompetent in Microsoft office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
  • You will have a desire to develop skills within change management principles.
  • Qualifications Required:
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 or above, including Maths and English.
  • A Levels at grade C or above, or an equivalent NVQ/BTEC or HNC in a business-related subject.
  • You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the Apprenticeship and meet the Department for Education and Skills , including residency criteria.
