- Developing and maintaining a broad range of external relationships (universities, companies, scientists etc) within your region.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders in your region to achieve/exceed your annual KPIs through existing partners and new business development.
- Day-to-day management of up to one BDA, including day-to-day training so they become proficient at their roles, career development, appraisals and performance management.
- Inputting into the continuous improvement of the ExI function, with specific focus on improving new tool acquisition and onboarding efficiency.

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and effectively manage stakeholders with experience of networking and attending scientific conferences.
- Demonstrable track record of success in the development and commercialisation of life science technology, ideally in the research tool space.
- Experience of and the ability to negotiate licensing and revenue sharing agreements with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can rapidly grasp technical, scientific and data driven concepts.
- Good scientific judgement and project management skills combined with operational delivery.
- Capable leader of people and teams who creates clarity and purpose of task alongside strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities to deadlines and can work independently and as an effective team player when required.
- Please note that there is an element of travel, both national and international, involved in this role. Our organisation values are designed to guide all that we do. Bold: Act with ambition, courage and determination Credible: Act with rigour and professionalism
