Care Assistant required (Female)*

A family in Cookley, Kidderminster are seeking an enthusiastic Care Assistant to work in the family home to provide support to disabled lady with activities for daily living and housekeeping.

Main Duties:

Supporting disabled lady with activities for daily living to include:

Assistance showering and getting dressed
Assistance with taking medication when required
Ordering/collecting repeat medication from GP
Driving to/from medical appointments
Accompany to leisure activities

Housekeeping to include all household duties such as:

All aspects of housekeeping including washing, drying, ironing, general tidying/cleaning
Shopping
Preparing meals
Walking dog

A full driving licence is required (use of car provided). The post is subject to full DBS disclosure, the cost of which will be met by us.

20 hours per week.

Hours of work are usually 10 am to 3 pm or 11 am to 4 pm, 4 days per week (weekdays only). On occasion, additional hours will be required including 5 days per week and/or earlier/later start/finish time. Working days may vary each week and advance notice will be given.

Starting salary: £14 per hour (reviewed annually).
