Full Job Description

We are looking for a full time (39 hours) Assistant Service Manager to join the team at Red Houses in Virginia Water, Surrey. Red Houses supports adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and some limited to non-verbal communication. The role requires you to be fully flexible and preferably hold a UK driving license. The position is split to allow 25% admin time. You will have the amazing opportunity to make a wonderful impact on people's lives by supporting the service manager to build and lead a great team, receiving full support from the beginning of your journey with us.,
- Work with your Service Manager to manage and lead a successful and positive team.
- Understands the balance between keeping people safe and promote positive risk taking.
- Have a good understanding of the social care sector and how it benefits and impacts the people we support.
- Support your team to stay up to date with policies and procedures to carry out and maintain safe and best practices.
- Support the Service Manager to recruit new employees and develop and manage your staff team in a fair and consistent manner.
- Work with your Service Manager to reinforce a positive culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as the Service Manager in their absence.
