North Tyneside Council are looking for an enthusiastic innovative person to join the Financial Assessment team in Adult Social Care Finance.

The successful candidate will provide financial and administrative support as part of the Adult Social Care Finance process.

This post includes, update and maintenance of management information systems, financial monitoring and transactions.

To make contact with individuals, their family or legal representatives in order to carry out financial assessments and progress applications for benefits maximisation in accordance with the Council's Contributions Policy for Adult Care and Support Services and Deferred Payments Policy. In relation to financial assessments, this may be either: face to face; on-line; or telephone assessment.

The post holder will be expected to communicate with colleagues, external agencies, service users and their families, in relation to contributions for services and answer queries in relation to charges, both verbally and in writing. This may include providing a breakdown of financial information.
