Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be looking to help adult learners achieve their ambitions by providing excellent teaching and guidance on the Access to HE programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant curriculum area including delivery on degree programmes up to level 6., As a Lecturer Coordinator in Access to HE, you will plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in your subject area. You will be supporting students in their academic journey and helping them prepare for progression to university or other HE programmes. The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or willing to work towards) and hold minimum level 3 qualification in relevant subject.

It is desirable that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS. Applicants will also have at least 3 years' experience of working or serving in a public service and recent experience of teaching.
