The Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping students gain confidence, engage with their learning, and achieve academic and personal success. You'll work closely with teaching staff and external professionals to provide tailored support., + Build nurturing, trusting relationships with students.
+ Support student communication and engagement in class.
+ Deliver pastoral care in line with safeguarding practices.
+ Assist in implementing learning activities, including literacy and numeracy programs.
+ Record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
+ Promote and model positive behaviour aligned with the school's values.
+ Support the school ethos by participating in activities, trips, and meetings., + Be part of a supportive, professional team.
+ Access to ongoing training and development.
+ Contribute to meaningful outcomes for students in a rewarding role.

+ English and Maths qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
+ Experience working with young learners, particularly those with SEMH needs (KS2/3).
+ Strong numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
+ Ability to relate well to children and work collaboratively with a team.
Desirable:
+ Proficiency in Makaton.
+ Knowledge of relevant education policies and the national curriculum.
