1:1 Teaching Assistant

Salary: up to £15,500 per annum

Location: Cheltenham

This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy.

Dean Close Airthrie school are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching assistant to provide dedicated and individual support to a student. This is a part time role, working up to 32 hours per week during term time.

You will be providing one on one support to a designated pupils, adapting to their needs and adapting the Class Teachers materials to support their ongoing learning to ensure the pupil remains engaged. Based primarily in the classroom, they would may involve some outdoors activities.

The successful applicant would have previous experience of working as a teaching assistant, especially on a one to one basis or with a SEND environment.

Dean Close Airthrie sits within Regency Cheltenham and has a Pre-prep and Prep School for children aged 4-11 (Reception - Year 6). The staff work within a very happy and supportive environment which is part of the larger Dean Close Foundation community. Our aim here is to allow your child's individuality to flourish, through their experience of excellent learning opportunities combined with the essence of what childhood is all about; from exploration in and outside the classroom to playing make-believe on the pirate ship in the playground.
