Full Job Description

St Mary's Catholic Primary School is an excellent school with a vibrant, supportive and friendly school community. We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is dedicated to supporting children in their learning and is sympathetic to our Catholic values.
The role is 30 hours per week and will be mostly working with individual children, but including working with small groups within the classroom, carrying out interventions and a 30-minute lunchtime duty. This would initially be a temporary role until the end of the academic year (31st August 2025), with a review at the end of the year based on High Needs Funding.
Please read the Person Specifications carefully and make reference to them in your applications. Previous TA experience is not essential, training can be given; a good general level of education and personal qualities are as important as experience.
