Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic 1:1 midday assistant to join our successful school to either work with a named KS1 child during the lunch break. The successful candidate will be:
- Able to develop positive relationships with pupils and use a variety of strategies to keep pupils engaged;
- Proactive, flexible, well-organised and willing to work collaboratively with other colleagues;
- Passionate about supporting a pupil with SEND, contributing to ensuring is a safe and enjoyable experience for them;
- Warm and caring, developing positive relationships with pupils;
- Proactive in promoting social skills and collaboration amongst children;
- Flexible and willing to take on a range of roles and responsibilities.

Reception/KS1 MDA Hours: 5 hours per week (12.15pm - 1.15pm)Monday - Friday x 38 weeks per year Grade: Scale 2 Point 3-4 Salary: £3,228 - £3,274 p.a. actual salary for above hours Contract: Fixed term contract until July 2025 to then be reviewed
