Full Job Description

Are you motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills? If so this role may be for you. We are looking for an experienced childrens nurse who is passionate about nursing children in their own homes and the wider community setting.

This is a 14-month fixed term/secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave.

The job holder will work 30 hours over a 7-day week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

To assist in providing a Childrens Community Nursing Service to children in all the community settings, including education.

This service will deliver care to children and young people with either complex needs or who need a timely telephone/ face to face review after discharge from the Childrens Ward / Childrens Emergency Department/Childrens Assessment Unit.

To actively take part in the development of the childrens community nursing team.
