Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in peoples life? As a valued member of our new NHS 111 Stockton team, you will be doing exactly that. Join us as Health Advisor, and assist our patients when they need you the most!, As a Health Advisor, no day is the same. You will be fully trained on the NHS pathways system to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. Although these are not emergency calls, youll also need to be prepared to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios and to arrange for 999 services if required. You will receive full support from your team and managers. Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Manage calls from patients and healthcare professionals with urgent and non-urgent healthcare needs
  • Direct patients to the service suitable for their needs, using the NHS Pathways System Capture patient information and refer them to the most appropriate service Communicate effectively with your colleagues as well as your patients, adjusting your communication style to reassure the patient with empathy and understanding

We have extensive training courses and assessments to learn a state of the art-triage tool called NHS Pathways. You must attend every training day.   • An hourly rate of £12.11 (during training and daytime shifts)and £15.58 (red zone weekend rate - subject to T&C's).
