Full Job Description
Oakwood Primary School aspires to create a safe environment where children are able to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their learning. We will achieve this by creating a learning environment which is stimulating and challenging, inclusive and enjoyable.
We currently have the following Classroom Teaching Assistant roles available to support the learning and welfare of children.
The successful candidates will demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs, work as part of a team alongside the Class Teacher and SENCo, where appropriate, to support planning and to deliver learning opportunities that meet the needs of the child[ren].
They would also have a positive and sensitive attitude, be able to build positive relationships with and be a role model for children, show initiative and enjoy working in a thriving Primary school environment.
The positions are:
1:1 Classroom Assistant: KS2: 26.25hrs p/wk Monday-Friday on a permanent contract. Starting September 2024
1:1 Classroom Assistant: KS1: 21.25hrs p/wk Monday-Friday [3 Full days, 2 half days] on a permanent contract. Starting September 2024
