Full Job Description

Central Functions is an integral part of our business, comprised of dedicated teams and individuals who keep our entire operation running smoothly. They make sure everyone gets paid on time, materials are sourced and delivered promptly, legal obligations are met, and our health, safety, and security are top-level., We are recruiting a graduate to undertake a 12-month graduate scheme with three rotations within the Direct & Indirect Procurement Teams and the Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be managing and negotiating spend for these areas. You will be required to deliver innovation from the supply base, reduce costs where possible and learn how to develop and manage contracts. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in developing a career within Procurement and / or Supply Chain and be able to demonstrate natural commercial awareness. As a Procurement and Supply Chain Graduate you'll:

  • Negotiate and award contracts
  • Develop THG's supply base
  • Manage existing contracts maximizing value
  • Be able to communicate cross-functionally across our key divisions and supporting functions (legal, finance, etc.)
  • Support best Procurement practice and policies to be embedded throughout the business
  • Managing supplier approval process and working with the relevant teams; Finance & Quality Assurance to facilitate approval process
  • Work with NPD Team and support with Procurement requirements for NPD projects across Nutrition division
  • Working closely with our supply chain and freight teams to ensure stock availability remains high. This will involve problem solving and identifying solutions. Support of the supply chain will be required on a global level across all THG manufacturing sites"
  • Communicate with our suppliers regularly to schedule product into our network, considering any capacity/delivery challenges that may put our online or offline trading plans at risk
  • Generate production plans for one of THG's manufacturing sites considering prioritization of sales streams, raw material allocation & efficiency
  • Reporting on KPI's such as spend, savings, payment terms, availability, intake budgets & production plan attainment

    Commercially astute, ambitious and collaborative individuals who are hungry for success and genuine responsibility.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build solid relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong passion for Procurement and Supply Chain, as well as good organisational skills.
  • A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to manage their time effectively.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics would be beneficial but full support will be provided.
