2025 Graduate Programme - Graphic Design - Work Winning - Consult - London

The work winning team support the Mace business by planning and managing the process through which the company secures new work. The primary function of this role is to support work winning in the Consult business, working with the Director of Work Winning to manage pipeline, progression of leads and prospects, coordinate bid management, design and writing, and support capability development across Consult to improve win rates and performance. The role combined business unit management of a team of circa 50 people with analytics and analysis, reporting, development of new concepts and proposals and process management across the work winning cycle.

In our 'Consult' engine, you'll join a global team where we work closely with clients to understand their challenges and offer fresh ideas grounded in innovation and sustainability. We provide advisory and project delivery services, guiding clients through every phase of their projects, from initial strategy and planning to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. While we collaborate closely with clients and visit project sites, Consult is centred on producing creative solutions to their individual challenges. What you'll do

In Graphic Design, you will support in the creation of visually compelling and effective communication materials that align with the company's objectives, brand guidelines, and client requirements. They will work closely with team members to develop marketing materials, such as reports, bids, presentations and digital content. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of consultation workshops and briefings with teams to understand project objectives and requirements.


• Assisting to develop visually attractive materials including reports, presentations, social media and communication campaign content, project-related content and animations in support of marketing/business development/work winning/project requirements.


• Developing knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.


• Contributes to ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and consistent brand identity


• Performing administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and communicating with vendors.


• Creating and maintains content in digital asset management system to ensure design files are organized and easily accessible.


• Adhering to deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.


You will also work towards gaining professional membership of the Association of Project Management (APM), fully funded and supported by us.


• A future or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in a creative subject


• 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)


Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role. To support this, Mace offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
