What is the opportunity?

The Net Zero Pathway focuses on developing skills in Net Zero Strategy and technical Net Zero solutions. As a Net Zero candidate, you will stay with the net zero team and will work closely with our team of consultants, acquiring the necessary skillset for Net Zero consultancy.

What will you be doing?

  • Working closely with our current consultants, you will collaborate on finding solutions for decarbonisation and achieving net zero performance in design and operation, both at the asset and portfolio levels.

  • This dynamic role encompasses various activities, including site visits, client meetings, conducting research, and compiling reports.

  • Net Zero is a rapidly evolving field, necessitating a commitment to staying informed about new research, developments, legislation, disclosure requirements, and case studies.

  • Joining our exceptional team of experts, you will acquire the skills to develop decarbonisation plans and roadmaps for assets, as well as larger entities such as investment opportunities, portfolios, and businesses.

  • To maximise learning, we ask all of our next generation cohort to be in the office on each of their working days

  • You may from time to time be required to work additional hours as are necessary

    A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for real estate & the built-environment

  • A strong desire for continuous learning and a drive to make a meaningful impact in advancing the net zero agenda are essential.

  • Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management

  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK

  • Cognate students will need a CIBSE accredited degree or a CIBSE accredited masters conversion course (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum)

  • Degrees in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Design or Built environment Scientific or renewable energy degrees is desired.

  • Good MS Office skills including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Enhanced knowledge and skills of working with excel or coding


  • Not an essential requirement for the role, but desired
