Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists on the Endoscopy Unit at Barnsley Hospital for a band 6 Fixed term/secondment team leader.

The role will include management of the unit and leading the unit in the absence of the Lead Nurse., Duties include daily management of the unit, including staffing, supporting staff attendance.

Budgetary responsibilities for stock items, attending meetings, dealing with incidents and complaints.

Working alongside our JAG and Clinical Education Leads to ensure that our unit and staff are performing to high standards.

There will be an expectation for you to cover on call over and above the hours you are contracted for ensuring emergency cover 24/7.

There will be further opportunities for you to develop your skills and abilities within the unit and by undertaking external training courses.

We are looking for an innovate and hardworking qualified nurse. You will have at least 2 years experience in endoscopy and have experience and an awareness of all aspects of endoscopy.
