The Police Performance & Standards (PP&S) area is responsible for managing key supplier account relationships with the 52 police forces (Disclosure Units) and law enforcement agencies that work with DBS to produce our Enhanced Disclosure Check product. The Police Liaison Team (PLT) Support Team works within the Police Performance & Standards Area providing administration and support. The PLT Support Team Leader (EO) role reports to the Police Performance Support Manager (HEO) and is responsible for managing a small team comprising of 3 x PLT Agents (AO). Operational / Business Delivery + To meet the requirements of this role you will be expected to liaise with Disclosure Units within Police Forces and the wider DBS to deliver tailored advice or guidance. Where appropriate, providing updates and recording all interactions on relevant systems. + Ensure all reports and queries are prioritised and completed to the required standard and within the agreed SLA timescales + Perform line management duties in accordance with DBS policies, procedures and agreed working practices + Contribute to continuous review and improvement of processes through involvement with internal audit process reviews and contribute to the review of team procedures + In addition to the above, you will need a good working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 functions. There will also be a requirement for you to use the DBS internal software systems for which full training will be provided. External/Internal Operational Stakeholder Engagement + Support business to improve quality, timeliness and value for money + Support Continuous Improvement principles + Ensure Police Performance & Standards Team managers and internal departments are briefed on issues which may impact other areas.

    DBS operates a flexible and remote working policy. However, contractual base would be Liverpool or Darlington.
