This stunning 53-bed home offers its residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas and landscaped gardens, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology. As a 2nd Chef at our home, your role may involve: Supporting the Head Chef and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch to our residents Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment Supporting with controlling the catering budget Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment Supporting with all day to day aspects of the catering operation Compliance with quality and safety standards Submitting food orders Undertaking any necessary training This role sits below the Head Chef

Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards. Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others. Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads. Preferably NVQ level 2 in food hygiene

£14.82 per hour Working across 4 days on a 2 week rolling rota and alternate weekends off Shifts: 7.30am - 5pm, Free uniform. Free Meals
