Full Job Description

  • Dealing with escalated IT issues, providing additional insights and support

  • Handling various tasks like managing new office openings, configuring phones or computers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Troubleshooting and managing a wide range of Microsoft applications such as Intune, Azure, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.

  • Ensuring network connectivity across offices, and remotely troubleshooting any network issues that colleagues might face.

  • Participating in a variety of IS projects alongside other IS colleagues, adding some variety to the daily routine and gaining valuable experience.

  • Visiting Home Group offices (with some occasional national travel) for on-site troubleshooting when remote solutions are not feasible.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with colleagues in both technical and non-technical terms, ensuring clear, timely communication.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft applications like Intune, Azure, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, with an understanding of networking (Meraki and Cisco) and monitoring tools (LogicMonitor).

  • Strong problem-solving skills, experienced in providing IS solutions within an ITIL framework, and familiarity with a Service Desk environment, ideally holding an ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced technical support role, handling various tasks and collaborating with 3rd party providers and suppliers.

  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to enhance knowledge, develop new skills, and propose solutions to improve processes and service delivery.

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, a hands-on approach to tackling tech challenges, and adaptability to address issues head-on.

    Permanent Role, full time (37.5 hpw)

    Salary circa £26,000 per annum (negotiable based on skills and experience) with great benefits including Health Cash Plan

  • Working Monday to Friday, you'll work a shift pattern between 7 am - 5.30 pm with a variety of weekly shifts between these times which will be early, mid, and late shifts.

  • We can be flexible and work with you to adapt shifts when you need that!

  • You'll usually work a week in the office, then one or two weeks at home. Over time, it averages to around 2 office days per week.

  • We can be flexible and work with you to adapt shifts etc if you need to on occasion.

  • To get out and about and support colleagues in our services and other offices, you'll travel occasionally. To do that you need to have a full driving licence.
