2x Learning Support Assistants (temp)

The Governing Body of Pontprennau Primary School seeks to appoint hardworking, committed persons to work in our dynamic and ambitious school as a Learning Support Assistant. The positions are to work with individual pupils and more widely within the class. This will be reviewed half termly or when necessary.

The successful candidate will exhibit outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills to support the teaching and learning within a classroom. They will represent our school's values and they will be determined to improve pupil outcomes for all learners.

The role will require flexibility and the ability to work under direction but also to work under your own initiative., · ability to communicate fluently in Welsh.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
