Full Job Description

We are looking for a band 4 Nurse Associate to join our amazing team. In liaison with the Lead Nurse, nursing and multidisciplinary team, you will support us to work together, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, nursing and family integrated care., You will be responsible for delivering high quality, family integrated care, with the support of a Registered Nurse, whilst being an accountable professional. You will work on the Neonatal unit taking a patient workload, and implementing the care plan set out by the multi-disciplinary team, whilst working within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role, accessing clinical and care advice when needed. Care of the neonate will include obtaining recording and interpreting clinical observations, attending to basic hygiene needs, administering oral medications, and providing appropriate nutrition for the neonate via nasogastric tube, breastfeeding support or bottle.
