Full Job Description

Reporting to the Creative Team Manager, you will be responsible for asset creation, both to support visual-based marketing material created by the company, as well as within the delivered products. Additionally, you will provide guidance on the aesthetics and functionality of the content, using a design thinking approach to ensure the content is appealing to users and aligns with business requirements. What you'll be doing Our role has two primary objectives: we utilise the company's products to assist in creating beautiful images, animations and marketing materials; and to generate digital assets and resources for use within the products themselves, along with mentorship on how these should be configured. We are also internal users of new products and provide testing and feedback to the development team. Siemens' 3D Artists produce the highest quality marketing material for both internal and external customers, as well as assisting marketing campaigns and sales opportunities. As a Siemens visualisation expert, you'll provide feedback on internal products regarding their usability and feature sets, and may deliver webinars, blog posts, user training and presentations on how best to use the visualisation tools within the product range.

As a recent graduate, or as someone who's opted for a placement within their degree course, you will be looking to start your career as a 3D Artist with a background in design. Your degree must contain a high level of visualisation content, and you should be able to provide an outstanding portfolio showcasing your artistic skills. Additionally, you will have an interest in how visualisations are created from a technical perspective, to achieve high quality results. This role is a paid, year-long placement, which offers a fantastic opportunity to work on live real-time visualisation projects in an exciting and varied environment.,

  • The ability to work with 3D modelling software with attention to detail and knowledge of rendering principles
  • Willing to learn how to use industry standard CAD software.
  • An understanding and passion for what makes an engaging visualisation
  • Passion for continuous learning and an adaptable approach to working on a range of projects, at concept and detail level
  • An understanding of the design process, especially the ability to use self-led research to inform your thinking and thus your creative output.
  • A willingness to experiment with the given toolset to create visually stunning and unique compositions, whether they be complete visualisations or 3D assets.
