Full Job Description
As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, supporting, and developing DHUs IT network infrastructure and systems to meet the demands of our 24/7/365 operational environment. Working closely with our vendors and partner providers, you will ensure optimal system availability to support the critical services we deliver. Beyond technical support, you will act as a key problem-solver and communicator, capable of working effectively under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. This role requires you to provide essential on-site IT services as part of a 7-day working pattern, including bank holidays, with on-call responsibilities to address and resolve service incidents swiftly.Join us in this critical role and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional, continuous care through reliable and robust IT support., What your typical day looks like:
- Lead the design, implementation, and automation of Azure cloud infrastructure
- Build, configure, administer, and manage the cloud technologies, systems, and components
- Package and deploy applications via Intune
- Manage and deploy GPOs and applications via Intune
- Manage Autopilot deployments
- Administer all O365 functionality, such as users, groups, static and dynamic distribution lists
- Timely and proactive resolution of cloud and 3rdline technical issues in support of DHU operational requirements
- Delivery of planned maintenance and infrastructure upgrades across the DHU digital estate.
- Provision of 3rdline and cloud support to Service Management team
- Lead identified strategic cloud-based infrastructure projects in support of DHUs wider digital strategy.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of identified systemic issues in response to in service events
