3rd Line Network Engineering Specialist

1. Utilising experience and evolving technical ability to resolve technical incidents, service requests, changes or problems relating to "Data Services" portfolio 2. Ensure continued development of product knowledge, known issues and troubleshooting techniques throughout the support teams 3. Perform as an integral member of the Data Services team providing 24x7x365 service on a 4-week rota pattern 4. Perform an SME role for designated clients and technologies 5. Participate in the portfolio governance, service design and solutions assurance process to ensure our technical propositions are fit for customer and scalable for the business

This role provides technical support and managed services to our customers through the use of Data Services technologies, 24x7x365 days a year. By using market leading products and applying BTs process, quality and intellectual property, we provide our customers with services to facilitate their objectives through the power of communication. The role requires a skilled technical engineer who is an innovative, engaging, driven individual and has a proven record of achievement. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo SC Level Government Security Clearance which requires a minimum of 5 years continuous residence in the UK., Troubleshooting Vendor Management Technical Documentation Incident Management Decision MakingWhat we would like to see on your CV 1. Extensive experience working within a systems integrator support environment as a highly skilled technical engineer 2. Possess a deep level technical knowledge of Data Services technologies and associated vendors including Cisco, Aruba or Juniper technologies 3. Experience from a 3rd line perspective with troubleshooting LAN / WiFi issues and must be holding CCNA or CCNP (or vendor equivalent) 4. You'll have highly developed organisation, prioritisation, communication (written and verbal), tenacity and ownership skills 5. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
