Full Job Description

As our 3rd Line Network Security Professional, you'll be working onsite in an air gapped secure customer facility along side other BT personnel. You'll provide lead technical support on complex security issues and projects - liaising with customer representatives or vendors and directing other support staff where appropriate., 1. Forming an integral part of our 24

  • 7 team providing security in-life technical support. Including on-call cover
  • 2. Detecting, responding and resolving complex security incidents, problems and changes within the operational environment 3. Providing 3rd line SME support, responsible for the high priority incident while resolving within the agreed SLA 4. Be the operational SPOC for our design or customer contract teams 5. Providing RCA's and contributing to PIR's as and when requiredEssential Skills Troubleshooting Customer Service Network Security Incident Management Decision Making

    1. Extensive experience working within a Network engineering role. 2. Excellent experience working within a specialist security operations role 3. Very good stakeholder management, working directly onsite with customers and their complex network solutions 4. Industry recognised certifications or relevant experience 5. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years. The successful candidate must also be willing to potentially undergo DV clearance
