51 Sqn - Tool Issue Centre Manager

Tool Issue Centre Manager will be responsible for the routine operation of the Tool Issue Centre and the day to day supervision of Tools Issue Centre operatives. They will have a wide range of supporting tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the Sqn. They will ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are being carried out and recorded correctly. The typical supporting tasks are:

Routine Management/Supervision of tool store operatives
Replacement of unserviceable items
Torque wrench testing
Control of precision termination tools
Routine maintenance of minor electrical items
Husbandry of large consumable products

Health and Safety at Work. You have the responsibility under the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 and other associated regulations to:

Comply with all instructions and procedures installed to ensure safety at work, taking proper care of any equipment provided for your health, safety and welfare at work.
Provide specialist advice as appropriate to your Line Manager in order to allow proper risk assessment to be made.
Report all accidents, injuries and near-miss dangerous occurrences promptly to Line Management.
