7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: £36,989.97 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Any 5 out of 7 - 48 hours a week - includes working 1 day over the weekend - early starts from 06:00am Location: Scunthorpe - DN15 9YA DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a 7.5ton Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Deliveries include white goods, furniture, electrical appliances - manual handling is required
• Working with a drivers assistant delivering around 40 deliveries per day
• Be willing to train to install wet goods (washing machines) and heavy goods (American fridge freezers)
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

• Hold a valid 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

• Duties involve manual handling, so candidates must understand the physicality of the role
• Pass a CRB criminal record check
